Yivli Minaret

Commissioned by Sultan Alaeddin Keykubad I and today one of Antalya's symbols, the Yivli Minaret is one of the most striking works of the Seljuk period. The 38-metre minaret is reached by a 90-step staircase. Built of cut stone, brick and turquoise tiles, it offers visitors the most impressive views of the Mediterranean and Kaleiçi. There is no admission fee, and it welcomes large groups of tourists, especially in summer.
